The Lodge was designed and created by June Zwager; her vision was brought to life with help from the local community and her team of skilled artisans. The Lodge is built from simple bush stone, Acacia, Olive and Leleshwa wood all sustainably sourced from within the sanctuary. All the furniture has been hand crafted at our onsite wood workshop and every piece is unique and adds to the African flare of Chui Lodge.
Chui Lodge, is situated as the only lodge within the Oserengoni Private Wildlife Sanctuary and comprises of nine individually designed luxurious cottages nestled under the acacias and candelabra trees.
The dining room, lounge and bar area feature pillars and murals with intricate hand carved African carvings, African antiques and ochre coloured walls creating the feel of an artist's gallery.
A short walk from the main building and cottages is a heated swimming pool with views across the waterhole and the wildlife sanctuary beyond. Having a refreshing dip in the heated pool while watching herds of giraffe walk down to drink is a unique memory you will keep forever. With so much space and privacy, time here moves slowly and one can lose oneself in the African bush without disturbance.

ACCOMODATION
There are nine en-suite individual and well-spaced luxurious cottages each with its own veranda and views of the Rift Valley escarpment and the Wildlife Sanctuary. Chui Lodge has five standard rooms, three deluxe rooms and a two bedroomed family cottage.
The Standard and Deluxe bedrooms have magnificent four poster king size olive wood beds, roaring log fires, en-suite bathrooms and unique décor, making each room completely different from one another. Each cottage has their very own tea/coffee stations and mini bars, these are restocked everyday on request.
The deluxe rooms are larger and have their very own lounge areas. Each view from the rooms is unique, some overlook the lush gardens towards the pond and others have spectacular views of the wildlife and wildlife waterhole in front of the lodge.
Perfect for a family getaway, our garden-facing cottage offers two en-suite bedrooms joined by a spacious living area, combining extra privacy with great value.

DELUXE BANDA
Our deluxe rooms are all uniquely placed, boasting a separate sitting room with a fire place, large king size beds and large and spacious bathrooms.
STANDARD BANDA
These rooms are all creatively designed and have fireplaces in the bedroom with large en-suite bathrooms.
Garden Cottage
Our cottage garden room offers two rooms and a adjoining living room between them.
We have an ensuite king as well as an ensuite twin room.
DINING
Our highly trained chefs prepare an array of meals to satisfy every palate with many ingredients being sourced from our very own dairy and organic vegetable farm and locally where possible. Three course dinners are served either inside with a log fire keeping everything warm or candle-lit under the stars listening to the hyenas call in the distance. Whether it is a romantic private dinner at your very own cottage or lunch by the pool we are able to cater for your every need.
ACTIVITIES
Professional safari guides will tailor the daily activities to guests’ wishes and interests to include day and night game drives in the Oserengoni Wildlife Sanctuary or along the lake shore. From boat safaris on the lakes to breakfasts in the bush in the heart of the Oserengoni Wildlife Sanctuary there is always something new and exciting to be done.

GETTING HERE
Chui Lodge is a 2 to 2 1/2 hour drive from Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya, on a fully tarmac road all the way to the Oserengoni Wildlife Sanctuary Gate. Other means to get here is by plane which isa twenty minute flight from Nairobi Wilson Airport. There are scheduled flights flying in weekly to Loldia Airstrip, which is 20 minutes drive from the lodge. Otherwise private charters are readily available and we are able to organise all these for you when you book.
